Fun show guys.
Check out this video by Boston comedy group Zebro about the carton 'bombs'.
Read the report on the events in Boaton from the Police Commissioner and you'll see ehy they took things seriously.
Fox news covers the press conference.
Fox News meets performance artists. their lawyer advised them not to talk about the case.
So they talk about haircuts.
Hey - nice show guys :) and yes, Skype sounds much, much better.
I was hoping to hear the three of you talk more about the YouTube announcment - what it might mean. Do you think this will be pushing other sites (ahem, ifilm) to do the same?
Hey guys, it's so great to hear about these deals going on in the vlogosphere. You are really tapped into that pipeline, and it's always interesting to hear your take on the money side of things. Kudos to Kent and Doug for holding out until they could land the FM deal.
A couple things, first -- Steve W is right about Windows Media Player being very proprietary. But, there is great little tool called "TVersity" that acts a media server on the PC and does on-the-fly transcoding to pretty much any video format. What this means is you can use WMP to "virtually" play Quicktime files, Real media, whatever. Once it's set up the whole thing is very transparent. It supports RSS feeds, too, so I can subscribe to any show in any format and watch it on Xbox 360. [tversity.com]
Seconds, the Bix thing sounds fun. It reminds of an idea I had about a "dueling" karaoke bar. Rock on.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Steve G should start a new vlog where he unboxes everything.
"Unboxed with Steve Garfield"
Hey Mom! They said my name on New Mediacracy!!!
Found interesting Zadi's observation that the Old/New Media idea has changed. Would be interesting to explore that further.
Just heard about this podcast from Enric on Sunday's FlashMeeting (02/04/07). I've listened to all your episodes in the past 3 or 4 days. Excellent stuff!!
The sound quality took a quantum leap forward with the latest episode!
The conversations between the three of you are fascinating to listen to. The chemistry sings perfect - each compliments the others. I hope this podcast continues for a long time to come.
I'm trying to find some sort of schedule for when future episodes will be produced - if you guys are still intending to include audience participaton, that is.
Keep up the good work. I can't wait for the next show!
